Campus water outage planned Saturday, Oct. 13


LAWRENCE — Multiple buildings on the University of Kansas Lawrence campus will be without water for approximately 11 hours Saturday, Oct. 13, as KU Facilities Services performs needed maintenance on the campus infrastructure. In addition to not having running water during this timeframe, the affected buildings (listed below) also will be without steam and heating/cooling systems. The work will begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday and is expected to be completed by 11:30 p.m. the same day. Steam will be shut off to all buildings listed below beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Facilities Services is doing the work during Fall Break weekend to minimize the inconvenience for KU students, faculty, staff and campus visitors.
