Margaret Raymond announced as first provost finalist to make campus visit


Margaret Raymond is the first of four finalists for the position of provost and executive vice chancellor of the Lawrence campus at the University of Kansas.

Raymond has served as the Fred W. and Vi Miller Dean and Professor of Law of the University of Wisconsin Law School since July 2011. Other details about the candidate, including a complete curriculum vitae, are available at the search webpage.

Raymond will deliver a public presentation to campus Tuesday, Oct. 29, in the Burge Union, Forum D, from 4 to 5 p.m. A reception will follow in the Burge Union, Forum A, from 5 to 6 p.m.

The presentation will be livestreamed, and an archived video link will be available after the presentation is over, at the search webpage. An online evaluation form will also be available on that page.

Names and other details about the remaining candidates will be announced approximately 48 hours before their visits. Each candidate will deliver a public presentation followed by a reception.
