Residence halls plan family-friendly Halloween event

LAWRENCE — Gertrude Sellards Pearson and Corbin residence halls at the University of Kansas will be host to child-friendly activities, crafts and games for Halloween in the Halls.

The event will take place 6-8 p.m. Oct. 26 in the lobbies of the residence halls, located at 11th and Indiana streets. Candy and small trinkets will be passed out, and costumes are encouraged. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Association of University Residence Halls, with participation from the All Scholarship Hall Council, National Residence Hall Honorary and the Apartment Living Association, sponsors Halloween in the Halls.
