Graduate Student Appreciation Week is April 1-5


LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas will recognize and celebrate graduate students during national Graduate Student Appreciation Week, April 1-5, and throughout the month of April.

Graduation Student Appreciation Week highlights the contributions of graduate students to KU's mission, raising awareness of their efforts in teaching, research and service.

In addition to school and department events, students can attend Red Hot Graduate Research, an interdisciplinary event modeled after the faculty Red Hot Research sessions, from 4-5:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, at The Commons.

The Graduate Award Ceremony will take place from 3:30-5 p.m. April 24 in the Kansas Union Ballroom.
