LAWRENCE — The Undergraduate Advising Center has announced the names of 13 University of Kansas students chosen as members of the 2018-2019 Peer Advisor Team.

In this role, the Peer Advisors will work throughout the summer and academic year to assist new students as they experience a variety of transitions, including acclimation to academic life, major selection and overall academic success at KU. KU has had Peer Advisors since 1998.

Among their Peer Advisor Team duties, the students will assist staff, students, parents and guests with the advising and enrollment process, act as a resource for incoming students, and help prepare materials and other help as needed for the success of summer Orientation activities.
