'Shakespeare & London: Exploring Spencer Research Library's Special Collections' set for April 12

LAWRENCE — KU Libraries will host a presentation by David Bergeron, professor emeritus of English, and Jonathan Lamb, assistant professor of English, from 3-4 p.m. Thursday, April 12, in Kenneth Spencer Research Library. A reception and conversation will take place from 4-4:30 p.m. following the presentation. 

“Shakespeare & London: Exploring Spencer Research Library’s Special Collections” will feature discussions on recent publications by Bergeron and Lamb and explore the relevance of the collections of Spencer Research Library’s collections to their research process. Among other publications, Bergeron is the author of “Shakespeare’s London 1613,” and Lamb is the author of “Shakespeare in the Marketplace of Words.” 

This event is free and open to the public.
