KU welcomes 63 new tenured and tenure-track faculty to campus


The Jimmy Green statue outside Lippincott Hall is one of KU's iconic landmarks.LAWRENCE — Sixty-three new tenured and tenure-track faculty members joined the University of Kansas Lawrence and Edwards campuses this year, representing a wide variety of scholarly expertise and contributions.

“There are many reasons to be excited about the future of KU, one of which is the new talent and expertise of our incoming class of faculty,” said J. Christopher Brown, vice provost for faculty development. “It’s been inspiring getting to know them and welcoming them to KU. They bring a wealth of experience and skills in their research that will engage our students and push the boundaries of discovery and creativity in the years ahead.”

KU’s new faculty members for Lawrence and Edwards Campus can be found in the School of Architecture & Design, the School of Business, the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, the School of Education, the School of Engineering, the School of Journalism & Mass Communications, KU Libraries, the School of Law, the School of Music, the School of Pharmacy and the School of Social Welfare.
