Engineering and Computing Career Fair set for Feb. 13

LAWRENCE — More than 120 companies and agencies will be on hand at the Spring Engineering & Computing Career Fair, which is set for noon-4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Kansas Union.

The event is an opportunity for University of Kansas engineering students to make connections for that dream job or ideal internship. Students can gather information about a wide variety of companies, network with industry representatives, and learn about potential internship and employment opportunities. Students should review the complete list of employers and study those of interest prior to arrival. Students should dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resume to share with prospective employers. The career fair is open to all KU students, but employers will primarily focus on making connections with students in engineering, computing and the hard sciences.

The night before the career fair, the Engineering Career Center will host Board Game Night. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. in LEEP2, Room G411. This networking event, open to all students, provides an opportunity to visit with employers, play some board games and enjoy some pizza.
