LAWRENCE — Faculty, staff and students with significant international experiences and contributions to international education are invited to apply to the University of Kansas chapter of Phi Beta Delta. Membership applications are due Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Phi Beta Delta is a national honor society and campus organization dedicated to supporting and recognizing campus internationalization. It is opened to faculty, staff and students who have experience with studying, researching or teaching abroad.

Membership benefits include a network of people with a shared interest in international education as well as opportunities to present research or international experiences at member events. Travel funds are available for students. Graduate students are invited to participate in the Best Graduate Paper on an International Topic competition in the spring. All members can be nominated for national awards recognizing achievement in international education.

New members will be notified by Oct. 14. The Induction Ceremony will be at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 6 in the Malott Room in the Kansas Union.
