Annual Halloween event moved to Oliver Hall

LAWRENCE — Oliver Residence Hall, 1815 Naismith Drive, will be the site of Halloween in the Hall, in which Lawrence children may trick-or-treat with Student Housing residents from the University of Kansas. The event will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26.

Children must be accompanied by an adult for all activities.

Children may trick-or-treat on the third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors of Oliver. Other featured activities include a not-too-scary haunted house, crafts and children’s games.

Because of the construction of two new residence halls at 15th and Iowa streets, there will be no events in the Daisy Hill halls: Lewis, Templin, Hashinger, Ellsworth or McCollum.

Halloween in the Hall is sponsored by the Association of University Residence Halls, the All Scholarship Hall Council and the Jayhawker Towers Tenant Association.

KU Student Housing offers three kinds of communities: residence halls, scholarship halls and apartment living with positive and academically focused environments. Student Housing offers leadership opportunities, community involvement and a trained and supportive staff.
