Media advisory: KU news director announced
LAWRENCE — Erinn Barcomb-Peterson is the new director of news and media relations at the University of Kansas, effective today. She succeeds David Martin, who had been in the role on an interim basis.
A KU alumna, Barcomb-Peterson was the director of News/Editorial Services at Kansas State University. She had been at Kansas State since 2005 in positions ranging from campus news coordinator to research news and features coordinator before becoming director in 2011. Before that she was the design editor at the Ottawa Herald and a reporter for the Eudora News.
She holds a degree in journalism from the William Allen White School of Journalism & Mass Communications.
