Candidate for dean of engineering to participate in public forum

LAWRENCE — A candidate for dean of the School of Engineering will visit the University of Kansas this week and participate in an open forum.

Michael Branicky, professor and chair of the electrical engineering and computer science department at Case Western Reserve University, will meet with faculty, staff and students in a public forum at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in the KU Visitor's Center Auditorium.

Names of the other candidates will be released approximately 48 hours before they arrive on campus. After names are announced, information on candidates will be available on the provost's website.
