KU students, faculty to perform 13th annual Collage Concert

LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas School of Music will usher in the new school year with the 13th annual Collage Concert. This year's concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Lied Center.

Admission is $15/general admission and $10/students and seniors + a $1 Lied Center service charge per ticket.

The Collage Concert is an opportunity for the community to experience the talents of KU music students and faculty. This year's concert will feature KU's Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Choir, Percussion Group, Jazz Ensemble I, Wind Ensemble, as well as performances by faculty and student soloists. The concert always culminates with a performance by the Marching Jayhawks.

Following the concert will be a ticketed fundraising reception in the Seymour Gallery of the Lied Center. Tickets to the reception are $75 (includes entry into the concert), and proceeds will go to the School of Music Student Opportunity Fund.
