KU Endowment elects new trustees

The KU Endowment Board of Trustees elected two new trustees at its 120th annual meeting, held Sept. 30.

Beverly J. Gaines, of Fredonia, graduated from KU in 1970 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and earned a master’s degree in business management from Friends University in 1989. She is vice president of First National Bank in Fredonia.

Jeff N. Gentry, of Andover, graduated from KU in 1983 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is CEO of INVISTA, which is a Koch Industries subsidiary and an integrated fibers and polymers business.

KU Endowment is the independent, nonprofit organization serving as the official fundraising and fund-management organization for KU. Founded in 1891, KU Endowment was the first foundation of its kind at a U.S. public university.
